No, Bob. It would be "an ad hominem" argument to say that Lause can't be a
medical doctor because he is a bad and unworthy person. It is NOT "an ad
hominem" argument to say that Lause can't be a medical doctor because he
doesn't know a spleen from a liver and might faint at the sight of blood.
You don't really know what an "ad hominen argument" is any more than the
people who were slinging around the "sour grapes" label earlier.
Still, I suppose it's creative to apply post-modernist standards to
insulting people.
Dyson's "points" have been well-addressed by people who study the subject,
have a more up-to-date prescription for their glasses, a newer keyboard and
a lot more patience.
