Sayan "Marx recognized workers' struggle as a fundamental axis not just on
phenomenological grounds, however. It was also because of theoretical
reasons: the labor theory of value makes labor (and hence workers) a key
element in the scheme of things."
I don't believe a new theory of value is needed at all. I think where the
problems come in that need theoretical work is in the interaction of various
national capitalisms as part of a world capitalist system.
