This raises some interesting questions.
What about police unions (unions of policemen)? They exist in a lot of
places. Should we support them? Are military troops different from the
police?
What about prison guards' unions? Prison guards' unions frequently
lobby for stricter sentencing laws and building more prisons. This
makes them unlike soldiers (soldiers don't lobby for more wars).
Also, if employees at private mercenary security corporations like
Blackwater or DynCorps were to unionize, should they be supported?
Thoughts?
