"Hawkish Shinzo Abe Suffers Electoral Setback"? I thought that he was handed
a set-back because he wasn't hawkish enough, and that those moving toward
nationalism (and in favor of Japan getting the bomb) increased their power.

Or am I reading things incorrectly?

Can you clarify? Increased nationalism in Japan is a bit of a scary thought for
those having grown up during WW2.
