The first rule of any good bullshit artist is to never, ever, ever say what
can easily be disproved. Why, in the Wide World of Sports would someone say
that Louis wasn't in the antiwar movement to a list that has scores of
people who were there and can witness that, in fact, he was?
More, what the point is of asserting on an email list that someone's
argument needs not be addressed on the grounds of what you say they were or
weren't doing forty years ago? Why not just address what's actually being
said on its merits.
Personally, I think Louis was very wrong to suggest that you adopt the pen
name of "Blazes Doodlebury."
After all, there could be a real person with that name who wouldn't want it
used to make these kinds of "arguments".
