[Marxism] Sports and race [was Re: Black Commentator: Another Side to Race and Immigration]

There are Canadian members of this list.

Some of them may be aware that the Chilean soccer team has recently 
obtained a most honorable 3rd. place in the (under-20) World Football 
championship that has just finished in Toronto (Arg ranked champion, 
for the 6th time in this category, some kind of a consolation after 
the shameful defeat of our national team in the recent Copa América 
Championship at the always so cruel hands -feet- of the Brazilians!)

What not so many are aware, probably, is that this Chilean team was 
awfully mistreated by the Canadian police, a honor that -maybe- an 
European team would not have deserved, even for equal disruptions of 
order...
