Re: [Marxism] LENIN'S RETURN By Paul Le Blanc
Re Lou P's comments on James Cannon and the Comintern; I wish my late pal Al
Richardson was around to read Lou's remarks. He too after many years as a
(relatively) orthodox Trotskyist, and after co-writing the history of the
Trotskyist movement in Britain, came around to thinking that the core of the
Trotskyist movement that emerged in the late 1920s and early 1930s was
essentially Zinovievist, and he came to regard Cannon as one of the prime
movers of Zinovievist ways of working within the movement. He thus saw the
late 1920s Trotskyists as quite different to the people who in the mid-1920s
sided with Trotsky.
