OK....I remembered. Yes. I had registered before and
now I logged in. I am not sure what's the difference.
But. You can access the article w/o having to log in. 

As far as newspapers, I still remember The Guardian of
the mid 80's. This was before internet and the only
way us living in US small towns could connect to a
larger national Left. I am not sure if a similar
project could be feasible, but....
