Of course I count them as ours, Lüko (which makes us twice as
responsible for their shyness). And I am always reminded that the
German proletariat was the single WESTERN proletariat who, at least,
attempted a socialist revolution. Perhaps your suspicion is right,
Lüko, but at the same time I found it interesting to show the links
between many "compagnons de route" of Stalinism in the 30s and
bourgeois leaders. If the anecdote was concocted, in the end it was
concocted only on a personal level. It wasn't, when you think of the
sacred awe of many self-appointed revolutionaries of those times (and
ours) to trespass the commands of the bourgeoisie, including
sometimes the "don't walk on the grass" command in public greens...
