[Marxism] Radical Challenge to US: Talk by Roger Burbach on April 19 at UC Berkeley
The Radical Challenge to the US: Bolivia, Ecuador and Venezuela
Presentation by Roger Burbach on Thursday, April 19 at Noon at the
Institute of International Studies, University of California, Berkeley
In the midst of a war torn world, an axis of hope has emerged as
three South American countries pose new alternatives to neoliberalism
and historic US domination. A Visiting Scholar at the Institute of
International Studies, Burbach has just returned from a trip to
Ecuador and Venezuela. He has written extensively on Latin America
and US policy and is currently at work on a new book: Social
Movements, Popular Democracy and Socialism: The New Challenge to the
US in Latin America.
Thursday, April 19 @ 12 PM, Institute of International Studies, 223
Moses Hall (Near Wheeler Auditorium on the UC Berkeley Campus)
