RE: [Marxism] Australian ISO leaves Socialist Alliance

I've little specific knowledge about the Australian left and the
political situation within it, though I've formed impressions at
a great distance.

However, Bob Gould, in circulating the ISO's withdrawal document,
is basically gloating over what he thinks is a blow against his
arch-enemies, the DSP. This is sick and demented. Division in
the face of the enemy was never an intelligent or revolutionary
strategy. The failure of attempts to unite forces on the left is
not something to gloat about, as Bob Gould, a parasitical force
in Australian politics, obviously does.

In Cuba, Jose Marti famously said: Hacer el lo major manera a
decir. Roughly, that means "to do something is the best way to
say it." I have my differences with the DSP, but at least we
have important things in common, which I prioritize. Gould
should move ahead with his life and see if he cannot build
something he can talk about, rather than gloating about the
problems of others. It's a sort of gossip pimping. Retch.
