[Marxism] The Sorrow and the Pity

Yes, of course, there is a similiarity. Does that make it 'fascist'? Did he
define what that was? In fact, you didn't either, really, except to give a the
false view that the occupation IS Fascist, which it isn't, and you didn't prove
it. Instead of discussing a serious assement of the occupation specifically and
fascism and imperialism in general, you make vague generalities to play game.
You didn't answer one point I made accept to admit you were playing a game.
What is your point? If you think the occupation is "Fascist" then prove it.
Show how "fascism" is a tactical approach by imperialism. That foreign policies
can be one thing, seperate and distinct from the political system the policies
are based on. And, at least, be serious.

Louis was made to think of great films dealing with "occupations". Two, Battle
of the Algiers and the Sarrow and the Pity. What was common to both was the
colonial/imperialist occupation, not fascism. Your lawerly ways should of
picked up on this, since it's so obvious. The occupation of France was an
extension of the fascist regime implementing the occupation. Please note that
Louis did NOT refer to the occupation of Iraq as "fascist" OR that of Algeria
as being fascist, ONLY you did. This is a dishonest method. You created a
comparison where there was none.
