[Marxism] The Sorrow and the Pity

An occupation in and of itself really says nothing about the occupying
power. For that you have to look at the social and political institutions
of the occupying country. Nazi Germany was a totalitarian state that
beheaded the White Rose students for passing out antiwar leaflets on campus
in 1944. Meanwhile, there will be 100s of thousands (hopefully) of antiwar
activists descending on Washington on January 27th. The difference should
be obvious.

CB: Those were rhetorical , not cross-examination, questions. Obviously ,
the U.S. occupation of Iraq reminded you of the fascist occupation of France
, and that's why you referred us to the movie on fascists occupying France.
