This guy is a reactionary idiot, in my opinion, as Walter suggests.
 
But we should keep in mind that the Foley case is being given a
systematically reactionary twist.  It is being portrayed as a case of
pedophilia when the victims are well past childhood, and all past the
age of consent.
 
What we are dealing with is SEXUAL HARASSMENT ON THE JOB, not
pedophilia.  The pressure these people, who have their amibitions, come
under to please a powerful congressman is very great.
 
The concentration on pedophilia as a false description of what is going
on is related to anti-homosexual campaigning. There  is no way that
sexual harassment can be portrayed as distinctly gay, and anyway the
Rightists consider it a right of property.  The expose is partly that
the moralizing Republicans DON'T REALLY HATE GAYS WHEN THEY ARE PART OF
THE GANG.  They exercise a vast "tolerance" while they scapegoat the
outsiders.
 
It was inevitable that the rulers will look for ways to cut the Bushites
down to size that will not encourage the masses to think.  There was an
element of this in the campaign around Libby and the "treasonous" outing
of CIA agents.
 
And what about female pages?  Why is nothing being heard about the level
of sexual harassment they must experience?  It would be a "diversion"
from the anti-homosexual angle.  Probably the only way the female pages
can defend themselves is to develop their own nuclear deterrent.
