I hope the last recommendation by Andrew will prevail, both for sanity
and political opportunity.
BTW: most of "anti-conspiracist" arguments seen here are really feeble
(to say it euphemistically). i.e.:
-someone insisted that Atta (like any else hijacker) could not be part
of a scheme managed by a sort of secret team within the USG, being aware
of its consequences (included its death). Well, what makes you think
that in such conspiracy (or whatever else) each agent has to be fully
informed of its consequences (and of who really runs it) in advance? Do
you believe in an open society with full transparency of information?
-Louis does not believe that spooks could have put explosives in the
buildings. Why not? if you are a real spook you can access pretty
anything -without inspiring much suspect- either using your NSA or
whatever agency card, or even using fake personal documents (which
should be an ordinary tool of your job).
-etc.
Above all, the 9-11 conspiracy issue is politically significant because
if you accept the official conspiracy theory (the premise), then you are
dragged to accept many of its consequences (wars, "anti-terrorism", end
of civil liberties, paranoia, fear of strangers, etc., in short:
fascism), or at least to see them like a response -maybe unjust,
inappropriate, but somewhat justifiable- while the real conspiracy
consisted exactly in this: reaching this result, even whith you.
Marxistically, one might even consider the trends of US economy in the
first quarters of 2001, which resembled the reelection prospects of GWB
at the time.
best regards
