[Marxism] Re: What do _I_ mean by Fascism here?
I happen to agree with Nestor here right-down the line, and the was the point of
my original repsonse about BJP, albeit there are some good arguments that the
BJP IS Fascist.
I might also point out that the Chilean MIR, in exile after the Pinochet coup,
wrote a series of exellent pamphlets on why the Chilian gov't was *not*
Fascist, and detailed the differences between a military dictatorship relying
on the armed forces as the prop for power vs a truly Fascist regime relying on,
as Nestor pointed out, a mass-movement bent on radically changing society.
So the questions then is poised again, why the *insistence* on labeling every
reactionary act or gov't "fascist"? I just don't get it.
