Re: [Marxism] two questions on Marx
I have always understood Marx's identification of the industrial working
class as a function of the following (incomplete list) relations:
1. Industrial workers were the absolute essence of labor's subordination
to capital and consequently, the dialectical focus of the contradiction in
capitalism that leads to the emergence of socialism
2. Industrial workers were already implicitly organized in such a way as
to be able to maintain the productive process.
3. Industrial workers tended to be more educated than the workers in other
branches of the economy
