Income Disparity Increasing in China

Beijing, Aug 12 (Prensa Latina) Income disparity in the Chinese
population will continue increasing, especially in the cities at
least for the next ten years, as revealed by an official report
Saturday.

According to a study by the State Development and Reform Commission,
although the Chinese fast economic development rhythm is over 10
percent, it is not beneficial to all the people.

National Economic Investigations Institute director Fan Gang said
that income gaps will grow in coming years.

Fan said that though in general absolute incomes have increased in
comparison with others, there is a big difference within.
