> A Bonsai State? Nicaragua and the United States in the Late Twentieth
> Century

I think that this idea of the "Bonsai State" is of the greatest
importance. All Latin American States, even Brazil, are Bonsai
States. Small parts of what should be a united Megastate, as Darc
Costa, the Brazilian planner that Chávez has taken as his counselor,
explains in his seminal "Estratégia latinoamericana".
This book, where Costa exposes -à la Henry Clay- his own version of a
"South American System", will prove as important for us as the
original was for the US of America. In Clay's project the most
revolutionary Lincoln was already alive. So will happen with Costa's
and -hopefully- with anything of value my own contribution to the
issue, which is due to appear soon, might contain.
