Re: [Marxism] Suggestion: let's create a FAQ!, was: Boycott Japan and China

"Sayan Bhattacharyya" asks:

"Why do immigrants from Mexico risk their lives crossing the desert
into the USA, rather than risk their lives crossing the sea into
Cuba? Even when Cuba has free universal health care and excellent
education, while the USA does not?"

Darn... Immigrants come to the U.S. to translate sweat and tears into
greens so that they can send back greens home. There is healthcare in
Cuba but no greens. That's the price one has to pay for being
relatively human. Humanity is not a part of the American narrative.
Mexicans could care less about Cuba's healthcare. They need grrens to
make their family survive. Between geens and humanness, when one's
family is dying, greens will win over healthcare time and over. You
can only pray for healthcare so long as you are alive....

It's so obvious, I am can't undesrtand that Sayan Bhattacharyya
cannlot see the obvious.

I live in the midst of Mexican immigrants. They could care less for
my "enlightenment". How much money they ask that can be used a) to
make one survive, and b) to send money to the family back home. Tehy
love me though...and they could care less whether I am alive, French,
American: Where is the green?

Healthcare is a great concept once, and when, you are alive.

Sheer survival is what it is all about.

Sincerely.
