i'm too busy for a pissing match right now, but i'll
answer your question. I feel that you conflate Jews &
Israel when you say:
"And in my opinion, honest activists shouldn't be
organizing symposia on anti-semitism in the movement
at this moment, but on building the movement against
the U.S./Israeli aggression and Israeli apartheid"
i read this immediate movement from questions of
antisemitism to questions of Israel is a conflation --
unless of course you would say the same thing to me no
matter WHAT kind of activism I was doing -- ie that i
should stop, not just doing antisemitism work, but
also drop any queer, feminist, environmental,
anti-iraq, police brutality, prison support, housing
activism, etc. work; and then go do
anti-Israel/Lebanon war stuff.
And i fucking hate the Zionist Left. they annoy me to
no end. if you listen to the Q&A, you'll hear me
arguing with the editor of Meretz's US webpage about
Bundism v. Zionism.
now show me where on the annouicement for the panel
you find that we "may have expressed that conflation."
you also seem to be a GC student.
