I'm with Andrew and Mark.

There are two countries in the world that are the most difficult to
boycott -- though they are probably the most deserving of being
boycotted -- for the simple reason of their economic power: Japan and
the USA.

Anyone who boycotts either or both has my support, but s/he probably
won't get very far.

In contrast, boycotting Israel is doable.  Think of Israel as the weak
link of the multinational empire.  Breaking the weak link weakens the
rest.

Besides, a number of Israeli leftists have come out in support of
campaigns to (either totally or selectively) boycott and divest from
Israel.
