kersplebedeb posted with approval an article opposing my party's statement's
on Hezbollah, and favoring a more nuanced approach of grudging semi-support
and semi-opposition.  This is pretty familiar for me, as have faced similar
accusations with regard to our stand on every imperialist war.  We have been
attacked in similar terms for our line on everything from Iraq to Yugoslavia
to Afghanistan (BOTH interventions).  For that matter we have been attacked
in similar terms for our defense of the socialist countries over the years;
the Palestine Liberation Organization when Arafat, not Hamas, was the demon
of choice; the Malvinas War; and, of course, the DPRK.  Not only is this not
shocking, if it ever stops happening it will be a clear sign that we are
screwing up; it will startle us all, like in the story about the guy who
woke up in the night when the midnight train didn't go by his window like it
always did.  Anyway, rather than spamming you all with my party's line I
will refer you to our selection of articles and podcasts at www.workers.org
