Our language cannot be determined by the language of our oppressors.  
Friends don't always do or say things that are most useful to either  
themselves or to their own interests.

Yoshie is not making a criticism in the sense of a direct attack. She  
is making an observation and drawing a conclusion from the observation.

In this arena, at least, new criticisms need not be made. The  
distinction between Zionist and Jew has been drawn for decades. By  
this time, responsible groups and individuals know the difference.  
The groups that regularly, without any reservation or explanation,  
lump the two together, harm themselves and the interest of the Arab  
masses and indulge in a demagogy that should put us on notice that  
their political agenda is limited to their own position of power.
