It might be ingongrous but it works, *especially* in a situtation like Lebanon.
It actually worked in Serbia when thousands of young people with bulls-eye
targets on their chests occupied the bridges in Belgrade that crossed the
Danube River. TV cameras and young people holding olive branches. Yes, the
Isaelis would only do it if they could see some huge tactical advantage in
their military conquest. Do you really believe they would gain a thing,
militarily or politically from wiping out, on an OPEN ROAD, thousands of people
holding peace symbols? I don't think so.
