I don't see the generalized connection between seeing a conspiracy in the
murder of JFK and having liberal illusions.
The question of whether there is a conspiracy or not depends on what sort of
evidence there is not what your politics are. Again, lacking a subpoena
power over the dead, discerning probable truth about historical events has a
different standard than what would be "evidence" in a court of law.
It seems evident to me that there were probably conspiracies to kill JFK,
RFK, King, Malcolm, and the various targeted local leaders of the Black
Panthers. All of these represent a wide variety of political views. You
don't have to think that JFK or King or the Panthers were going to overthrow
capitalism or something to see them as victims of a conspiracy.
