The initial information on this was so goofy and contradictory, I thought a
college freshman must have written the press release.

It certainly seemed as though the best case scenario the FBI could offer
would be dismissed as entrapment.  The worse was a truly Orwellian matter,
in which government agents were going to most alienated and angry Americans
and trying to get them to say something that could be construed as
pro-terrorist, subjecting them to Federal prosecution for hollow threats and
empty intentions.

However, it seems like one of those election year news stories.  Big splash,
no ripples.

Hopefully, people will learn something from it and not be so blazingly
gullible and stupidly naive.
