[Marxism] Evidence clearly points to cop setup of "conspiracy" to bomb Sears Tower

This Guardian article, despite its infinitely gullible tone, leaves no
doubt in my mind at all that these people were conned by the FBI into
being raw material for a "terror" prosecution.
The charge that they were "under the direction and control" of Al Qaida
is a flat-out, deliberate lie.  They were entirely under the direction
and control of the FBI and had NO CONTACT OR INSTRUCTIONS FROM AL QAIDA
WHATSOEVER.

The plot was "bigger than 9/11".  This is also absurd being based on the
fact that the Sears Tower is bigger than the World Trade Center.  But
rumor has it that the World Trade Center was actually destroyed.  Police
encouragement of fantasizing about revenge against imperialism's crusade
against the Islamic world is hardly on the same plane, even if the
victims were led to free-associate about blowing up Los Angeles or the
planet Earth. And there was no chance that anything would come of this
plot UNLESS THE FBI DECIDED TO BLOW UP THE SEARS TOWER.

It is clear that the FBI and the Canadian cops (the case of the Toronto
17) are on a campaign to con  Muslims, immigrants, antiwar people,  or
even people just insufficiently unfriendly to Islam and insufficiently
friendly to the Bush or Harper administration into government-run
"conspiracies" which are really conspiracies against them.

The idea is that such "conspiracies" can be charged against the victims
of the cop scame and used for high profile propaganda for war and for
attacks on democratic rights.

The case of the Toronto 17 shows plenty of signs of being cut from the
same cloth.  They were going to behead the Canadian Prime Minister! NOT
AT ALL! That would amount to a decision by Canadian cop agencies to
behad the prime minister. The indications are that this was just a case
of one or more people who could be drawn into fantasizing about one of
their oppressors being without this (in his case, possibly extraneous)
body part.

I hope immigrant groups and Muslim organizations will be on a campaign
to warn people about being conned into conversations about such matters
with alleged representatives of Al Qaida or similars.  Anyone who is
approached in that way should slam the door in the cops' faces.

The current attack on Muslims, "Muslims,"  and immigrants who oppose
imperialism's war against predominantly Muslim peoplesy reminiscent of
the wave of frame-up "conspiracies" organized by the FBI and other cop
agencies against Black nationalists in the late 1960s and early
1970s.Eventually the juries became skeptical.  We should campaign to
spread that kind of skepticism now!

The defendants in this case deserve an absolute presumption of
innocence,  coupled with an absolute presumption of guilt when it comes
to the cops and their "informants."
