Of course I've read Capital. Vol. III only twice plus later browsing;
Vol. II as a whole only twice, but first 125 pages about 10 times;
endless rereading of Vol. 1. But why should one cite Capital in e-mail
posts primarily concerned with the tactics and strategy of building a
mass resistance movement in the U.S.?
I do strongly recommend Chaps. 1-3 of Vol. 2. They are wholly
tautological in nature, but following the permuations on that tautology
as Marx goes round and round the circle can begin to give you a powerful
sense of the dynamic and horror of capitalist relations. But there is
nothing in them to cite or quote in e-mail posts. Their imporance is in
the way they saturate one's way of feeling the world.
