If Che Guevara was right that a new moral (hu)man must be created for
socialist society, anyone serious about socialism should give serious
thought to the role that psychedelic substances might play in that
transformation . . . as Leary wanted, as Huxley envisioned in Island, and as
the proponents of psychedelics have long argued.

The opposition to the educational and psycic development uses psycedelics is
nothing more than prudish Ludditism bulwarked with a brutish materialism.
