[Marxism] England Football Supporters

Surely there is no uglier sight than thousands of England fans gathering to
support their team. The nationalism, jingoism and racism is disgusting, as
they  verily drink themselves into a stupor whilst singing songs celebrating the
Second World War. In Germany they've come with inflatable Spitfires, German
Second World War army helmets, and an attitude of football as war by other
means. Surely it speaks to an attachment to Empire and imperialism which
pervades the English working class, resulting in a national chauvinism which  
allows
British governments to continue to engage in imperialist military  adventures
to this day and get away with it.

In comparison the African and South American fans bring joy and celebration
to the game. In fact there is a marked difference between the behaviour of
fans  from the undeveloped world and those from the developed world as a  whole.

I wonder if the list agrees with that.
