Re: [Marxism] The 'Anti-Deutschers'
I came across the term 'Anti-Deutscher' for the first time on this group.
Whilst in the broadest sense the meaning of the term is obvious, I hadn't
encountered the notion of this as a developed and well-established
ideology before. I'd like to draw upon it in the context of some other
writing I'm doing (I'm interested in the ways that liberal Brits and
Americans find Germany the easiest country to demonise, giving a
neo-WW1/WW2 imperialist and chauvinist ideology a superficial liberal
packaging - this goes on a lot in the field (granted, of limited
significance) of aesthetics, especially music). Can anyone recommend
writings or web resources on the specific 'movement' involved?

I've never encountered this term before, but I suspect that Daniel
Goldhagen's book would be a treasure-chest of "anti-Deutscher" ideas.
