Sure, that is one of the best and most advanced articles by Avnery.

But when it comes to concrete goals, his position for the "right of
return" in principle, but concretely only by trickles controlled by the
Israely state, stands against converting Israel into a state of all its
citizens.

And a really democratic state of Israel, which would be the state of
all its citizens, would have no reason to be a separate state within
Palestine, would merge with an Arab Palestinian state.

This reminds me of Malcolm X' word of the chicken which will not lay
a duck's egg, unless it is a really revolutionary chicken...
