Bush described it the other day has having brought Zarqawi to justice, an
expression that implies John Wayne and the Texas Rangers caught him,
protected him from the lynch mobs, and saw him to "a fair trial."

It's all part of the official fictionalization of the conflict.

However, I suspect that if they could have patched up Zarqawi and gotten him
into a courtroom, they'd have done it.
