Re: [Marxism] Data Request

E. H. Carr's books may help, although they may now be dated. However,
your inquiry deals with an open period of history and one of interest
at the time, especially books on Lenin, Stalin, and Trotsky.

Unfortunately, the only biographical book to hand is Harding's
two-volumer on Lenin's Political Thought. No concrete figures.

Access to a decent library and the rest of my books will be delayed by
at least a week.

Harvey Klehr of Emory University is open to inquiries. He specializes
in anti-communist books against the U.S. Communist Party. That should
be no impediment, for he seems to me to be open to serious inquiries.
Even though this isn't his area of study, he may be able to point you
in the right direction.

Thanks for this suggestion; most helpful.

Just walking into a large university library and going to the section
on early Russian Communism and perusing the bibliographies may also
help, assuming that you don't get a more specific response.

Of course. As I said above, the current situation is far from ideal in
terms of accessing data. If possible, it would be good to make a start
on inquiry; otherwise, I'm sure it can be postponed until I'm in a
better position in a week or two.

Comradely regards,
Marc
