This is remarkably poor reporting on the part of the Guardian. Of COURSE
Zarqawi was "killed by two 500 lb bombs." He just wasn't killed INSTANTLY.
Big effing deal; it's a distinction without a difference.

The Guardian COULD have noted the presence of innocent civilians in the
house (Zarqawi's wife, and possibly a child) and the U.S. disregard for the
lives of civilians, but they didn't, or they could have noted, as I did here
(http://lefti.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_lefti_archive.html#114977470437495460)
the number of innocent civilians killed in PREVIOUS aerial bombings of
supposed Zarqawi safe houses. Instead they (and the rest of the media) have
us focusing on the irrelevancy that Zarqawi was still breathing for a minute
or two after the bomgs fell.
