This is a talk-- in two parts -- given by Farrell Dobbs (July 25, 1907 ?
October 31, 1983) on April 29, 1960 in Los Angelos as part of his campaign
for US president. Dobbs is introduced by George Novack. This was Dobbs'
first public meeting after his and Joseph Hansen's return from a visit to
Cuba where the revolution had triumphed the previous year. It is a
thoughtful analysis of the dynamic of the process then unfolding.

Farrell Dobbs was an American socialist and trade unionist and leading
member of the US SWP. He is primarily remembered for his leading role in
the Teamsters (US transport union) in the 1930s.
