Re: [Marxism] "our" troops' moral duty

As a colloquial term, I've only ever heard it applied to men. ("Mentshn" as
we'd say afn Yiddish.)

For skeptics, I refer you to yiddishdictionaryonline.com. :)

Subject: [Marxism] "our" troops' moral duty

"Mensch" was always used in a gender-neutral way in my house, that is, being
anyone who does a good deed ("mitvah"). The ngeative of this was usually
expressed in the ethno-centric "Be a good boy, don't be a goy...", with no
female equivalent (although I can think up of few in Yiddish, a langauge, oddly
enough, like Spanish which lends itself these sorts of the little sayings...)

Moving right along...

David
