RE: [Marxism] Colorado backwardness
The West generally has a population similar to the rest of the U.S. but is
spread out considerably more, which gives disproportionate weight to the
top. The voice that displaced that of the native peoples wasn't really that
of the frontiersman and cowboy but of the railroad and mine owners.
I suspect that radicalism will be commonplace in the Deep South before it is
visible in the West, though we can take some hope from the immigrant
protests of late.
