GOOD question. i checked the Mailman source code, it checks the From and
the Sender headers ... must be your Sender address is FQDN, but i can't
confirm because Mailman changes Sender to the list address when
forwarding messages. GMANE does very careful checking on headers, and i
suspect it did the right thing and looked beyond your From address.
next time you post to marxmail from gmane, see if you can Cc: me
directly and i will check the original headers.
