I was actually responding to the following from Louis  (scroll down).

It might have been better if I would have quoted Louis prior to
posting the link to the female pundits article so as to be crystal
clear. It would also be better if comrades would not assume offense is
intended when it isn't clearly offered. And only a week ago I told
Louis how much I value this list.

I wonder why so many people got their knickers in such a twist from a
mild criticism from Louise and an attempt to neutralize and generalize
the discussion from me.

I am feeling very much like the "other" at this moment.

No, I don't think that's why more women don't post. I think it's more
about not enjoying the verbal competition.

I do feel like I apologized too quickly to Louis because he seemed
wounded and he got angry and my placating socialization kicked in and
I hate fighting and I hate when someone I respect gets angry with me
and now I feel somewhat diminished and angry myself.

And if that's too touchy feely for some of you, too bad. That's how
the real world is.
