This discussion is pathetic.  A real embarrassment.  The moderator uses
a phrase that simply should not be used by Marxists, given its
enforcement of the degrading stereotypes of  women;  a woman objects,
and we get 2 to 3 days of bullshit, twists, turns and the like
pretending to be semiotics, Marxism, just the real world.

And from there it's only made a turn for the worse.

Second time in the last couple of months I  recall the moderator
threatening to shutdown the list if behavior didn't improve.  Moderator,
first moderate thyself.

Give us a break.

If the moderator or anybody else feels the need to use tough language,
substitute cocksucker for all other terms.  Like Academic Cocksuckers.
Or a Cruise Missile Cocksuckers.  Or any other time we feel a need for a
profane description.   Cocksuckers.  Oh... but that's a profane term,
that's offensive, we are transgressing sensibilities if we use that
term...?

Guess what, if that's so, you got your cocksucking sensibilities all
fucked up motherfuckers, because those terms are less exploitative than
the term whore.
