Louise Walker is absolutely correct.
It's one thing to deploy words that in origin, use, and application
affirm the compulsory degradation of women. We can write that off to
ignorance.
It's quite another thing to resist correcting that failure; to justify
the ignorance.
I cannot believe, or maybe I can, that there has been any response to
comrade Walker other than "You are correct. This will not happen again.
Thank you."
