Why am I not surprised that a DSP'er finds the analysis flawed. Given
the
fact that these comrades endorsed the "humanitarian intervention" that
the
article repudiated, they are forced to come to terms with how bad
things
have turned out. Hopefully, if as John Percy warns, the DSP is
abandoning
Cannonist principles, they might come to the point where a
free-wheeling
discussion about East Timor can take place. I know that in Cannonist
groups, it is virtually impossible to have one. Crossing my fingers...
angry reply:
Louis IMHO you disgrace yourself in this contribution. When challeged on the
basis of fact (someone's understanding thereof) you malign the opponent with a
"what would you know you're the x organisation that always says y" approach
that mostly avoids the issues at hand.
In a previous criticism made by myself about your misuse of moderation power
I tried to be even handed, pointing out it is difficult to participate in
debate and moderate fairly. Now I think you weren't even trying to be fair.
Shame on you.
