Lest we forget, the Star Spangled Banner doesn't exist without the Star
Spangled Banner.  The fact that the Union Army carried the Star Spangled
Banner into battle against the slaveholders 145 years ago does not mean
that the present day US Army is the bayonet of emancipation, the flag is
anything other than anti-revolutionary, and that the song is anything
other than a hymn to capitalist exploitation.

Come on comrades, less gymnastics, more Marxism.
