  In Robocup, 2 female teams from Iran are among the top 20 teams from
Iran to take part in the upcoming World Robocup in Bremen, Germany.

  The cup is about robots playing football (soccer for the USAnians),
and the girl team from the Isfahan college is among the best.

   The German newscast "ZDF heute" reported about the Iranian Robocup
with footage of the Isfahan girls in shador, soldering their robots and
explaining their work, which you can watch at

They said (their reporter Ulrich Tilgner) said that there are also mixed
teams.

  The teams have to both construct the robots and program their
"intelligence", the difficult task being to develop team play among
several individual robots.
