The next meeting of the NYC immigrant rights coalition
is Monday. So I should go there and say, OK, all of
you here less than 5 years -- in fact all of you who
can't PROVE to La Migra's satisfaction you've been
here 5 years -- you should all go home. That's the
best we can do.

When they (rightly) kick my ass, are you going to be
there for first aid, Walter?

Or picture this: an immigrant family is discussing the
Jackson Lee bill amongst themselves. Can you picture
them saying, "OK, we've been here 3 years, busting our
ass in that factory, but hey, we should be happy to go
home if her bill passes, because otherwise those
damned Republicans will have won."

Come on.
