get a little confused.
Speaking of Klein, while I think her work is valuable and enjoyed "The
Take", in that documentary she contrasted the Argentine occupied factories
to the Russian and Cuban expropriation in a tone of disparagement of the
latter two, as you've pointed out in your critique of the film. I strongly
agree with your critisms of autonomist anarchism of Klein. Sometime down
the road, if the socialist, labor, and antiwar mov'ts get off the ground,
the "change-the-world-without-taking-power" attitude as well as the
Gandhian bourgeois pacisfism could prove a real hinderance, as they did
with the London protests of March 2003. It's basically a way to avoid
offending the sensibilities of middle-class First Worlders, as much as I
dislike throwing around the term.
