US-backed death squads kill thousands in Iraq

Faik Bakir, the director of the Baghdad morgue, has fled Iraq in fear of
his life after reporting that more than 7000 people have been killed by
Iraqi interior ministry death squads in recent months. While, most of
those killed were Sunnis, the attacks were also directed against Shiites
who joined with Sunnis to protest the Samarra mosque bombing. [Full

suspected stroke or diabetes attack next to a bus stop. For five and a
