Dear Patrick,

I happen to have all of the above books in my personal library but I must
admit that I have not had much chance to digest Harvey's  "The New
Imperialism" as yet. It will take a while I suppose but irrespective of
this, I think even the best and the brightest among us are playing at the
boundaries, or, limits of the theory, including Harvey I would say. By the
way, his next book called "A Brief History of Neoliberalism" or some such
thing, sits in my personal library among the books to be read more carefully
as well, but in the presence of many other books to read, I am not sure if I
will be able to come back to it in the future.   

Let me finish by saying that maybe we should all pay a closer attention to
what Melvin has been trying to convey for quite a many years, that is, pay
more attention to what real people out there are saying than to what the
theory (theories) suggests (suggest). 

At times I feel that I have more books in my bookshelves at home than I can
handle to read, however well intentioned I may be.
